Many times we see that companies are sold or bought for very different numbers, and it is said that they are expensive or cheap. But how is the value of a company being sold calculated? For this, there have been several different currents of ideas in this regard and here we present two calculation methods that help to value listed and unlisted companies: the method of the sum of the EBITDAs forecast for the next five years, and the PER.
